Summer 2022 Newsletter

Happy Summer, Pet Parents!

I hope you and your fur babies are staying cool this summer! Newsletters are sent as a way for Bipetual Care to announce any updates or upcoming changes, along with sharing Pet Care & Safety Tips for seasons and occasions, so please be sure to read everything to stay up to date on the latest changes. Friendly reminder, if you’re taking your pets outside for outdoor activities, please keep walks short and under shady paths, and make sure they’re hydrated, hydrated, hydrated! Here’s some Hot Weather Safety tips via ASPCA. Onto announcements and upcoming changes!

Welcome, Grey!

Please give a warm welcome to Grey, the newest member of the Bipetual Care team! Grey will be a part-time Pet Sitter for House Sitting and Overnight services to clients. She has experience in caring for kids and animals of all sizes and temperaments from working at a daycare and volunteering for humane societies. She is still in training for some practices (such as administering injected medications and handling pets with aggressive behaviors), but she is able to provide services for some clients. We will be scheduling Meet & Greets in due time, and hopefully in the future Grey can become a full-time Pet Sitter for Bipetual Care!

House Sitting + Overnight Availability

Clients can refer to the availability calendar on the Services page (located bottom left titled “House Sitting + Overnights”). The calendar has been modified to show available dates in green, dates that are busy (half pet sitters available) in yellow, or completely booked (no pet sitters available) in red. I am still looking to hire one or two employees to offer more overnight availability to clients. As of now, it is currently only me and one employee, Grey, servicing all clients at Bipetual Care. If you or anyone you know may be interested in joining the Bipetual Care team, please apply online at www.bipetualcare.com/join-our-team

Here is a list of current dates for available House Sitting and Overnight services this year (as of August 1st, 2022):

  • August 1st – 5th, 15th – 18th, 22nd – 25th, 29th – 31st
  • September 1st – 15th, 19th – 20th
  • October 3rd – 9th, 16th – 23rd , 30th – 31st
  • November 1st – 2nd, 7th – 30th
  • December 1st – 15th

REMINDER TO CLIENTS: I will be out of town August 19th – 20th and September 21st – 27th and will be unavailable for all pet care services these dates. Grey can handle some bookings these dates, so if you would like to book services please be sure to schedule ahead of time so we may arrange Meet & Greets accordingly. If Grey is unavailable, I can refer other professional pet care providers in the area for anyone to contact and check their availability.

Client Portal

For those who do not know, clients can access their Scout account on Bipetual Care’s website on desktop (computer, laptop, tablet, etc.) via the Client Portal button, located on the top left. This way clients can request services, update home information, fill out and complete pet profiles, add a payment method, and view invoices on a desktop if they prefer not to do so through the mobile app.

REMINDER TO CLIENTS: Please be sure you have completed and updated all required information on Scout, as per the Service Agreement, before requesting services. I have noticed a handful of clients have left blank fields (profile pictures, pet birthdays, home entry instructions, etc.) or have not updated information (home address, emergency contacts, payment method, etc.) on their client portal. If you have not completed all necessary and required information, please do so sooner than later. This Fall, I will begin enforcing these policies, and will resort to denying services to those who do not follow said policies. These policies are in place to ensure all client home information, pet care instructions, and emergency contacts are accurate and available for sitters to have access to, in order to be best prepared for any scenario during a booked service. Clients can view a copy of the Service Agreement contract on the website, if needed.

Thank you for reading this Newsletter, and for being the best Pet Parents! All information and previous Newsletters can be accessed on the website via the Blog or F.A.Q. pages for clients to view anytime. Clients can contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns. Have a wonderful summer!
